HEMEFund Worldwide is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to improving communities around the world by helping adults, children, and families break the cycle of homelessness and poverty. This is accomplished by providing assistance in the areas of HOUSING, EDUCATION, MEDICAL, and EMPLOYMENT to enable them to attain their fullest potential as individuals.
Over 3 decades of war and conflicts in Afghanistan devastated people and especially the Afghan widows and orphans have been suffering from poverty and are in critical need of our attention. Widow are on the streets begging for small changes and kids are carrying wheelbarrows trying to earn small changes for their families. We brought clothes, shoes, food, medicine, school supplies, toys, and more to 3,000 Afghans through various small projects, but it was NOT the permanent solution for them.
While these gifts gave them instant gratification and quick fix to their problems , the demand for same gifts grew even bigger. This is why we started building schools in Afghanistan. We have started the first school back in Oct. 2009 as a pilot study with a GREAT SUCCESS, and now we plan to establish 49 more schools.
Yes, this is our first vocational school in Afghanistan. It does not look anything like fancy schools in America, does it? But I am really proud to say that people’s lives are changing through our program. You will be very surprised to find out how we are helping these widows and orphans…..
